Seccorell Art Smudge Pastels, Rondo

Description

Seccorell Rondo comprises a round compact tub: 8 basic colour smudge sticks, rubbing block and cleaning brush (natural bristles), eraser sticks; 2 cotton pads (not in picture). Room to store all 24 colour sticks after removing the bottom insert if you wish to expand your colour range. An inspired art medium for creating beautiful artwork, smudge sticks are created using natural bound mineral pigments. The colour is grated using a rubbing/grating block and then the coloured powder is rubbed onto the paper using fingers. An eraser stick is used for light effects, and the final artwork can be rubbed with cotton wool, tissue or similar, leaving a smudge proof surface with no need for fixative!
Seccorell encourages the creation of soft dreamy pictures with a wonderful watercolour-like effect and can be used on a variety of paper (non shiny) and surfaces such as wood, plaster, eggs and clay.
