Shipping and Delivery

Placing an order

Australian Steiner Supplies sends products to homeschoolers, schools, therapists and educators Australia wide.

For School orders and Annual Ordering information, please refer to this section or contact us by email or phone for support in placing your order.

For all Homeschooling orders please find our Customer Service info below.

  • $14.50 flat rate postage – Australia
  • FREE postage on orders over $200.
  • Heavy or bulky items may incur additional charges especially to remote areas.  In this case the item will be marked as a “heavy item” on the product page.  You will be contacted to confirm delivery costs of heavy items prior to your items being sent.

Out of stock items

Customers can request an email notification when an item comes back in to stock by placing their email address on the waiting list on the appropriate product page.

 

Shipping

Shipping & Delivery Times

Australian Steiner Supplies uses Star Track Couriers and/or Couriers Please as the fastest way to get your toy deliveries to you.

We do not ship PO Boxes.

Australian Steiner Supplies aims to dispatch orders the same or next working day after payment of your order is confirmed. Delivery will generally take 2 to 5 business days to be delivered to you depending on your area.

 

Express Shipping

We do not charge extra rates for Express Shipping. Where your parcel can be packed in a carton or satchel 5kg or under we will send automatically via the Premium Star Track Service.

Tracking your delivery

You will be sent a shipping notification email from Star Track or Couriers Please with your individual tracking code. You can then track the progress of your parcel delivery on their website.

Please be aware that you will need to be at the delivery address to receive the goods. Deliveries are made between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. 

In the case where you are not in attendance you have been left a card to arrange pick up of your goods. 

Authority to Leave

You may select an Authority to Leave in Checkout.  If you select this option during Checkout, you hereby authuorise the courier to deliver your package to your shipping address without your signature being obtained, and you acknowledge and agree that confirmation of delivery by the courier driver is satisfactory proof of delivery. Australian Steiner Supplies cannot not replace or refund items which you do not receive if you have selected the Authority to Leave option.

Refunds and returns

Breakages during delivery

We endeavour to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, is accurately packed and delivered in a timely way.

On rare occasions, an item may break during the delivery process.  Please ensure you check all your goods on arrival to ensure no breakages have occurred in transit.

Returns

Customers who have purchased from Australian Steiner Supplies can return purchases for a replacement item within a reasonable time frame if the item purchased is faulty. Manufacturing faults will be referred to the manufacturer.  Please check your goods on arrival for any visible faults and report these immediately.  Visible faults where packaging has been removed may void your Warranty.

Please allow 1 – 2 weeks for your return to be processed.

All new items with visible faults must be in their original packaging and in perfect condition. Replacements (or refunds when a replacement is not available) will only be processed when the goods are checked. Please ensure items are carefully packed for shipment.

Your return postage will be refunded to you for all faulty goods returned to us in accordance with the above conditions.

Australian Steiner Supplies is not responsible for any merchandise damaged or lost via return post.

Please note, some items which are made of wood, such as play resources, carry marks from the tree from which they were made, have small surface variations such as notches or divets, as well as variations in dye pigments and paint finishes.  This is all part of the unique natural beauty of a handmade toy and we do not offer replacements under these circumstances.
